about

"Old Timer meets up somewhere between an ’80s dream pop downer and the new wave of guitar soli, then gets washed out and dragged like chum through freshwater." -Justin Snow, Anti-Gravity Bunny

I recorded this album almost ten years ago, a direct result of my own figuring out how to record using a pinhole microphone on a long-dead laptop and the desire to recreate the sounds of Fennesz's "Endless Summer" and the late 2000s "beachy" sound. I found it on an old hard drive deep within a closet in my parents' house. This isn't like other Footpaths stuff - it's hazy, Summery, scatterbrained, and much more infantile - but a nice backwards glance.

Also, there was another track which has been lost for almost seven years. Casey Hogan, if you're reading this, send me it if you still have it.
